Tomorrow is Good Friday! It
is the day that we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary! This day plays a major part in Faith! Because we can have Faith and rest assure that our sins will be forgiven . He died for us! He loves us unconditionally. Can you imagine the abundance of anxiety you would feel if this was happening to you. Oh goodness!! Well Jesus did not carry this worry, because he had a purpose and a reason for this happening . He could have stopped it but he didnt. All because he loves us! On the day of his crucifixion he said 7 important things before he died. You can find these 7 words in the Gospels of Matthew , Mark , Luke , and John. I ask that today you simply read these verses. 1. "Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do" Luke 23:34. 2. "Truly I say to you, Today you will be with me in paradise" Luke 23:43. 3." Jesus said to his mother "WOMAN THIS IS YOUR SON" Then he said to the desciple: "THIS IS YOUR MOTHER" John 19:26-27. 4. "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34. 5. "I thirst" John 19:28. 6. "They put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth.When Jesus had received the wine he said " IT IS FINISHED;" and he bowed his head and handed over the spirit." John 19:29-30. 7. Jesus cried out in a loud voice, FATHER INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT." Luke 23:46. Lets pray..... Dear sweet Father God. Thankyou for giving your son for us. Jesus thankyou for dying a brutal horrible death for our sins. We dont deserve the constant unfailing love you she us but , yet you do. This day for the rest of my life. I will be sure to stop, even if just for a moment to say thankyou. We love you, we praise you. Amen. Ladies I hope you have a wonderful stress free relaxing Good FRIDAY.
