Finding balance in life is difficult sometimes. Often we get stuck in the job that we don't enjoy. So we're left feeling stressed and irritable. Life is full of all kinds of trade-offs. When we feel overwhelmed, going to the Lord for guidance doesn't always cross our minds immediately. It should be our go-to always, by default. Simply doing a short daily prayer and asking the Lord to guide your search for a career where you can have both a life and a living is one way to do that. Your balance isn't going to be found running around in circles, like a chicken with it's head cut off. It's only ever going to be found on a much better path where enough is more than sufficient. And that path leads to Christ. But it's also important to make sure that you have the right order for those things to fall into place just prayer alone isn't always enough. Make sure your heart is placed in the right position. Money has to come second to Christ, family ,community, and self. Chasing money will never bring you happiness. Especially if you're working in a environment that's unsettling and triggers sin. The order should be.....
1.Christ 2.Family 3 Community 4. Self 5. Money.
Once you conquer that order, success takes on a whole new meaning. Giving up things you shouldn't do or have, or repositioning the order of things will allow you to gain wealth beyond belief. God needs to be at the core of all decisions.
